The Statue of Liberty Reservation System

Background
After having closed the Statue of Liberty (SOL) to visitors for security reasons after the 911 terrorist attacks, the National Parks Service (NPS) planned a re-opening in 2004 implementing process and system improvements for advanced ferry ticket sales and monument tour reservations to allow better demand management, better information, and an improved visitor flow through the entire process. Moving forward all tickets would be reserved in advance through the world wide web and through the call center using the same online reservation system.
